Sugar 3, Scugnizza, Guardamago II and Unpo'pergioco at the Champions Cup

As many as four Italia Yachts will be on the race course to vie for the Italia Yachts Trophy at the Coppa dei Campioni to be held in Trani from March 30 to April 2. Enzo de Blasio's IY 11.98 Scugnizza and Ott Kikkas' Sugar 3 represent the most successful boats in the fleet, with titles emblazoned on them, but Massimo Romeo Piparo's Guardamago II is also fresh off an ORC win at the winter in Riva di Traiano, and a third-place finish in IRC. Attention is also focused on Niki Vescia's IY 9.98 Unpopergioco, which at the 2021 and 2022 Champions Cup already has a third place overall and second in grouping to its credit. The Champions Cup puts on the race course some of the strongest boats and teams in the area and associated with the East Ionian Area National Championship and is valid for the purposes of the 2023 Owner of the Year Trophy - Uvai classification as well as Qualification for the 2023 Italian Absolute Offshore Championship and the 29th edition of the Apulian Zonal Offshore Championship, organized by the Lega Navale Italiana Sez. of Trani.
